Auteven Hospital Kilkenny

This project was designed on contract to DFL, a major contracting firm in the southeast, who were completing the refurbishment for the Mount Carmel Medical Group. The project entailed the design of all reception areas, private consulting rooms, minor treatment rooms, bedrooms and public areas.

All specifications needed to adhere to strict healthcare guidelines both for health and safety for staff and for hygiene purposes also. Mount Carmel wanted the ambience of the private hospital to be more that of a health spa. This was successfully achieved with the use or warm, soothing colour schemes and artwork specifically; created to encourage health and healing.
